Unto us a child is born!  King of all creation.
Come into a world forlorn, the Lord of every nation.

Lying on the stable hay with his mother Mary.
Come to show us how to live in peace and harmony.

When the boy was twelve years old, in the temple teaching.
Old men listened as he spoke, for wisdom he was bringing.

He brought joy to all the earth; and light into our dark night.
He lives on in acts of love, inspiring us to do what’s right.

So we sing of Mary’s son, who reveals God’s love for us.
