Photos at Rachel's Tomb

Rachel's Tomb is behind all these concrete barriers and under the machine gun nest located on top.

The Anustas property, which is half a block north of Rachel's Tomb on the other side of the street.

A member of the Anustas family describing the location of the Wall that will be built around the house of their family.

Buildings directly across the street from the Anustas home.  Shops are on the first floor, with homes above.  These homes will be on the other side of the Separation Wall, which will be built directly in front of the Anustas home.

Military installation to the south and behind the Anustas home.  The Israel flag is flying on the building to the right.  Machine gun nests are located on the tops of both buildings, which were confiscated by the army to protect Rachel's Tomb.

Looking north at the front of the Anustas home.  The Wall is to be built on the back and south sides of the home, and then will turn and run north of the street where it now meets the sidewalk.

Bethlehem neighbors who have gathered to protest the Separation Wall that is to be built in front of the Anustas home and through their neighborhood.

Hermina Damons, the Program Coordinator of the Ecumenical Accompaniment program, and David Lindberg, a volunteer EA from Chicago.  The young man is translating from Arabic to English for us.

Neighbors of the Anustas family discuss with Hermina Damons how best to protest the Separation Wall.
